Welcome to 2023!!

Here we are, another year!!! 2022 has had its ups and downs. We didn’t get a lot of chapter rides in, unfortunately, but we did have a decent showing at the Iron Adventure this year.  Sadly, we lost several members of our chapter this year as well. This is always a somber reminder for the rest of us, of how precious our lives are, and how closely knit this chapter can be. Nancy will be adding 5 more names to our chapter memorial flag this year, so that we can memorialize them, and keep them with us on our journeys.

Kono has 30 years as an EMT in Boston, now retired, at the rank of Captain.  The class consisted of practical application of basic lifesaving techniques, such as assessing wounds, basic wound management, scene safety, and how to remove a full face helmet from someone who is injured (and how to decide whether to even do so).

IMPORTANT CHANGE!!! For those attending the accident scene management class on April 16, there has been a location change!!! Due to schedule conflict with the Eagles, we were not able to secure the club for the class. As a result, I managed to secure the dining hall for the Fitchburg Masonic Hall. The address is as follows: 16 Thorndike street Fitchburg, MA, 01420 The cost is still $40, payable in cash or check, made out to the chapter.  The class starts at 8, and should end about 4 that afternoon.
